Birju and Shona live in the slums with their daughter Muni. Together they navigate Kolkata’s affluent neighborhoods each very morning, collecting trash on a handcart. They sift through salvageable items from among the discarded materials and bring them home. These items become the medium for stories they share with their daughter each night.
