Her newly hired cleaning lady, Rita Ritter, a vivacious East German with a terrier, disrupts Almuth’s isolation. As their worlds collide, Almuth’s rigid reserve meets Rita’s warmth, sparking an unlikely friendship that challenges Almuth to confront her long-suppressed emotions.
