The Root of Evil (2006)

Left disfigured and without memory due to a car accident, the painter Andrea Spiegelman decides to retire with her husband to an isolated villa, the legacy of an eccentric uncle dedicated to the cultivation of psychoactive plants. With the help of a diary in which his uncle wrote down his experiences, Andrea begins to experiment with drugs extracted from plants.
