A documentary exploring the dark side and contradictions of Spain's democratic transition through revisiting the investigations conducted during that period by journalist Xavier Vinader. A leading figure in investigative journalism, Vinader took his professional commitment to the limit, exposing issues that proved deeply inconvenient for both the State and the far right. He became the first journalist to go into exile and also the first of Spain's democratic era to be imprisoned for political reasons.
