Azad has a habit of coming home late because he spends his time with his hobby of playing music at a studio. This habit worries his adoptive mother, Aishah. On his way home, Azad nearly hits Pak Habib, who is crossing the road to recite the call to prayer at a nearby mosque. Azad helps escort Pak Habib to the village mosque. During the journey, Azad shares his family story with Pak Habib, and Pak Habib also enjoys telling him about his background. Azad's late father passed away in Mecca 10 years ago. Pak Habib explains that he has just returned to the village after wandering for 15 years. He came back because he wanted to settle the sale of his abandoned cottage and garden land.
