The story revolves around Biren, an old man and his journey to find love after his deceased wife. 'Morome Ringiaai" depicts the bond and relationship that develops between humans and animals, which are much like human to human and more. After losing his wife, Biren's life comes to a standstill. He mourns the death of his wife. But neglects the only living being he has, the cow. Various events lead them into a closer and a beautiful relationship eventually. A purpose lost and found.
