Cognate (2023)

Four ladies from very different backgrounds end up living together in Brooklyn, New York. Though their new apartment and improved living conditions represent a new start, old habits die hard. Many of the issues from their past lives seep into their new life like a virus therefore causing drama and misunderstanding. For the most part, the ladies try to be friends but culture conflicts and indifference won't let them. They become vindictive and spiteful, sleeping with and manipulating each other's boyfriends for their personal gains. Things take a drastic turn when all four roommates discover that they are all pregnant, for each other's boyfriend. Now, it is up to the boyfriends to choose themselves or fatherhood.
