About this product

Track rainfall with the confidence that comes from over 170 years of measurement expertise. The Taylor 5-Inch Capacity Outdoor Rain Gauge is designed for homeowners, gardeners, farmers, and weather enthusiasts who want a straightforward, reliable way to monitor precipitation right in their own backyard. This rain gauge features a generous 5-inch measurement capacity, making it suitable for capturing even heavy rainfall events without needing to empty the tube mid-storm. The metallic printing on the gauge tube provides crisp, high-contrast graduated markings that are easy to read even from a few feet away, so you can check your rainfall totals quickly without bending down or straining to see the numbers. Installation is effortless thanks to the tapered edge stake attachment. Simply press the stake into your garden bed, lawn, or open soil area, and the gauge is ready to collect data. Constructed from weather resistant plastic, this rain gauge is built to live outdoors through all four seasons. Whether it faces summer heat, fall rain, or winter cold, the durable materials resist cracking, warping, and fading so your gauge stays functional and legible year after year.
