Penetro 90 Multi-purpose Penetrating Spray lubricates all types of moving parts that have become difficult to operate. Penetro 90 is oil based, so it doesn’t evaporate like solvent-based penetrating oils. Penetro 90 coats coats surfaces with a light, clear lubricating film that stays on indefinitely. Penetro 90 Penetrating Oil coats each rust particle and acts like tiny ball bearings so rust particles slide over each other easily without sticking to the threads. Schaeffer’s Penetro 90 is blended with friction fighters and rust and corrosion inhibitors for ultimate protection against wear, corrosion and moisture. Penetro 90 High Performance Penetrating Oil is recommended for valves, taps and dies, hinges, linkages, cutting tools, locks, conveyors, air power tools, control cables, rollers, hoist chains, and electric power tools. For best results, shake can well before using. Allow the product to penetrate after spraying. If applying to heavily corroded parts, first scrape or wire brush. Wipe away any accumulated dirt or grime that may appear as the part operates. Penetro 90®’s unique patented formula does not contain any chlorinated or chlorofluorocarbon solvents or any other types of solvents. While Penetro 90 has many applications it can be used on, it was not designed to be used on wire ropes. Do not spray product onto any hot metal surface.
